WAXING AND THREADING

In addition to regular waxing, Salon Alure offers threading. Threading is a form of hair removal use extensively in the Fareast and has become increasingly popular in the west. A cotton thread removes hair quickly. Many individuals find that threading creates less redness and swelling than does waxing. Threading is especially worth a try for those with sensitive skin. Waxing  —  Our Relaxing Waxing rituals provide effective hair removal while ensuring maximum comfort. Using two different types of wax allows us to customize for the area of hair removal. Make sure to let us know if you’re using doctor prescribed skin care products or taking any medications, so we can check for contra-indications.
